Wendy Erven is a Master Trainer and Founder of Core10 Pilates. She created the Core10 method – an athletic version of Pilates. It’s a uniquely intense strength training workout using spring-loaded Pilates equipment. It’s not traditional Pilates. Core10 gives you better results – faster.
She created the Core10 method during and after she was the Yoga and Pilates Trainer for the Oakland Raiders team in 2001-2002. The coaches wanted her to combine Pilates concepts with other fitness methods. With her experience as a Fitness Professional teaching many class formats, she was up for the challenge.
She created this highly effective version of reformer Pilates. The Raiders went to the Super Bowl after a year of training with this athletic Pilates, high-intensity Pilates method with Wendy.
She changed her teaching style and saw a dramatic difference in the results her clients got from it over traditional Pilates.
Athletic people love this type of training. It’s designed for men and women dedicated to changing their bodies.
Wendy moved to Omaha in 2002. She managed the Yoga and Pilates program at Life Time Fitness for many years before opening Core10 in 2016.
She holds a Bachelor of Science in Fitness Management from Chico State University, California, and a Liberal Arts degree from Cottey College. A former Master Trainer for IDEA, she spent many years as a continuing education provider for ACE and ACSM.
She has various fitness certifications and comprehensive training, including the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) and Balanced Body University.
